the liberal agenda?

One of the soap boxes of the Democratic Party in this last years election was the full with drawl of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have personally spoke with people whom support this action. Their base ideology is that they (Democrats) do not back war because of the killing and the lose of innocent life. I don't support or even like war. Sometimes however you do have to make peace. So it could easily be said that the Democratic Party doesn't support war due to death, killing and senseless murder.

President Obama has recently "un-forzen" funds that will go to help aid and assist abortion clinics, doctors etc....overseas. He, President Obama, also supports partial birth abortions and infanticide.

So no war, because of senseless death, killings and murder but don't you dare infringe on someone's choice to kill, murder or take the life of a helpless, defenseless, unborn child.

Interesting.

Gibbons, these are perfect examples of how Democrats have lowered their moral standards, and are creating their own "feel-good" standards of how to live.

Wouldn't it be awesome if people could do ANYTHING that they want, WHENEVER they want, HOWEVER they want, with WHOMEVER they want?

B.O. thinks so.

Aren't Republicans like John McCain just as guilty for choosing to lay down and "work with" the President on this kind of hateful legislation, at a time when Christian resistance is needed the most?

Can you please tell me how a few cells without sense or feelings compare to a child?

Just wondering... i am not saying abortion is right or wrong (we met agree on many issues)

I just cannot see how they argument links together at the moment.

No - it would be awful, and this is why society has prisons and mental hospitals for those the disagree :-)

Did someone mention the ‘Golden Rule’ (yes, me just now)... didn’t this come from an atheist philosopher?

"Do not do unto others what angers you if done to you by others."
Socrates 436-338 BCE

Not Jesus then?

So is this why we don't just do whatever we want...?

partial birth abortion is more than just a few cells..

Jesus was before socrates, although incarnate after Socrates.

Hi Tim,

A bit of a Strawman that.

I could agree with what you said, and it isn't what I am asking. (Hence a strawman argument)

Can we discuss what I wrote, not what you thought you read :-)

I will quote myself:
"Can you please tell me how a few cells without sense or feelings compare to a child?"

I am not talking about an abortion at 30 weeks, or 26 weeks or anything as extreme as you are making. I wrote a few cells without sense or feeling... no nervous system or anything like that. Is there a problem with this abortion, and how does it compare to the death of a child? This is a fair question right?

Jesus was before socrates, although incarnate after Socrates.

Sorry, I thought the 338 BCE meant BEFORE the reported birth of Jesus?

So, how was Jesus BEFORE Socrates?

Have you got any documentary evidence for this strange assertion? I’ve not heard it before.
(Unless, come to think of it, it was Jesus who was walking in the Garden of Eden and not God? Is that what you are saying?)
